DR. BRADY STEPHENS

Dr. Stephens serves as president of
Centurion Bible College.  Prior to that he served churches in North Carolina, Virginia, and Ohio.  He was a Crusade Director for Clyde Dupin Ministries for 3 years.  He is an ordained minister in The Wesleyan Church and a certified coach and coach trainer in The Wesleyan Coaching Network.  His teaching experience includes serving as an adjunct professor in the Criminal Justice
program at Ohio Valley University and as an adjunct instructor at the West Virginia Corrections Academy. He is a graduate of the West Virginia State Police Academy, has a B.A. In Biblical
Studies and a M.A. in Ministry from Carolina University of Theology and a Ph.D. in Religion from Christian Bible College in Rocky Mount, North Carolina.

Dr. Dowler serves as an instructor at Centurion Bible College.  He is pastor of Middle Ridge Baptist Church near Technology, WV.  He has an A.AB in Microcomputer Technology and an A.AB in Business Management from Washington State Community College.  He also holds a Bachelor of Arts, a Master of Arts, and a Doctor of Biblical Studies from Master's International School of Divinity.

DR. JAMES MCGARVEY

James McGarvey serves as an Instructor and Program Manager of the Church Safety & Security Program at Centurion Bible College. He has served as the Safety Director of a growing church in Columbus, Ohio for almost 15 years. He has over 25 years’ experience in public safety working as an EMS Dispatcher, Firefighter, EMT, Instructor, Disaster Chaplain, Executive Protection and Volunteer Officer for the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department. He has held many ministry roles including: Youth Pastor, Associate Pastor and Church Planter.  He is a graduate from Emmaus Bible College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Bible with a second major in Computer Systems Management, a Masters in Business Administration with minor in Marketing from Grand Canyon University and a Doctoral candidate in Organizational Leadership from Grand Canyon University. He presently works for the US. Defense Department in logistics and fraud prevention.  

DR. MARK DOWLER

C.J. PLOGGER

Charles (C.J.) Plogger has pastored for 30 years.  His ministry journey began in Southern California and has taken him to Indiana, Illinois, Ohio, and currently, West Virginia. 

His undergraduate degree came from the University of Northern Colorado where he majored in History and minored in Criminal Justice and he has a Master of Divinity degree from the Anderson School of Theology in Anderson, Indiana.  He also has a Doctor of Ministry degree from Bethel Theological Seminary in St. Paul, Minnesota.

He has preached internationally in numerous camp meetings, conferences, revivals, and seminars.  He is a licensed Church Consultant and has worked with many congregations.  He also is a licensed Coach for the Church of God and a certified Coach for Natural Church Development.

He has been extremely active in State Leadership for the Church of God in several states.  and has chaired major committees as well as developing and implementing necessary ones.  Currently he is serving as an Associate State Pastor for the West Virginia Ministries of the Church of God.

He has authored two published books concerning discipleship entitled, One Step Closer and Men Mentoring Men.  Wipf and Stock, the sixth largest Christian publisher, published his book entitled, The Revealing.  He has published six books about the West Virginia Penitentiary in Moundsville.

He has either led or been involved in twenty-eight mission trips to Haiti, Honduras, India, Mexico, and the Pine Ridge Native American Reservation. He is fluent in Haitian Creole.

He loves his family, Janeen and three children, Jonathan, Anna, and Eden.

REV. RUSSELL WOOTEN

REV. MELODY SMITH

Rev. Smith is the senior pastor at The Gathering in Parkersburg, West Virginia.  She studied journalism at Ohio University, Early Childhood Development at West Virginia University at Parkersburg, and has a B.A. in Ministry from Centurion Bible College.  She serves as secretary for the administrative board and is an instructor.

Rev. Wooten serves as assistant pastor of Vienna Wesleyan Church in Vienna, West Virginia.  Prior to that he was senior pastor at that same church.  He has also served churches in Ohio. He is a graduate of the Washington D.C. Police Academy and the Pennsylvania State Police Academy.  He serves on the board of directors for the Women's Care Center in Parkersburg.  And he was elected to six terms as President of The National Treasury Employees Union.

MS. STEPHANIE GLASPELL

Ms. Glaspell has an Associates in Business Administration from Mountain State College and an Associates in Ministry from Centurion Bible College. She serves as treasurer for the administrative board and is active in children's ministry at her home church.
